Long long ago, Hou Yi shot down nine suns.
He got some magic medicine from a goddess and he wanted to drink it with his wife Chang’e.
Pang Meng, a bad man, tried to steal the medicine when Hou Yi was not home. But Chang’e refused to give it to him and drank it all.
She became very light and flew up to the moon.
One night, Hou Yi found that the moon was so bright and round that he could see his wife. He quickly laid out her favorite food and wished that she could come back!
