1. 两者进行比较，表示“一方比另一方更……”
1) A+ be+ 形容词比较级+ than+ B

2) A+ 实义动词+副词的比较级+ than+ B

2. 两者进行比较，表示“一方与另一方一样……”
1) A+ be + as+ 形容词原级+ as+ B
如：Peter和Paul一样瘦。
Peter is as thin as Paul.
2) A+ 实义动词+ as+ 副词原级+ as+ B

3. get/ become… and… 变得越来越……
get/ become后面接“比较级+and +比较级”，这是表示“变得越来越……”。若比较级是加-er构成的，则用“比较级+and+比较级”的形式。如比较级是多音节词，就用“more and more+原级”结构。
如：Your English is getting better and better.
She becomes more and more popular.
4. “the +比较级+of the two…”表示“两者中较……的”。
如：Peter is the taller of the two.
补充句式
5. “the +比较级+其它， the +比较级+其它”，此句型表示“越……，就越……”。
如：The higher you stand, the farther you can see.
6.Which/ who…, A or B “哪个/ 谁更……，A还是B？”
or与选择疑问句相连，且有两者提供选择，前面的形容词要用比较形式。
如：Which do you like better, water or orange juice
注意：1. 在比较级前可用much/ a lot（……得多）, even（甚至）, still（更）, a little（一点）, a bit（有点）等来修饰，表示程度进一步加深。
very, quite, too, enough后只能接形容词或副词的原级。
如：Kate is a little taller than Mary.
