关于学情的研究
学生在七年级上学期的时候,学生在第三单元How was your school trip?第四单元What did you do last weekend?和第五单元Where did you go on vacation?已学过了一些词汇在一般过去时中的使用,本单元则更系统地学习动词过去式的变化及其在疑问句和否定句重的应用。学生对一般过去时态已很熟悉,这为新知识的学习奠定了认知基础。
他们热爱和崇拜科比,梅西,李娜等名人,对他们的人生历程充满好奇,在教学中,教师可充分利用学生这一心理,引导学生进行探究,让学生自主地解决问题,
本单元难度不是很大,特别是由之前学习的基础,在精心设计课堂教学和练习的基础上不难掌握本单元的重点。
在课前要求学生搜集一些自己崇拜的人的信息,如出生年月,获得的成就,人生经历的事情,为什么受人崇拜等,为课上的口语交流和写作准备好素材。
评测练习效果分析
我利用本篇文章,设计了多个阅读任务。先是设计快速阅读,给文章排序,厚实扫读任务,填写时间表格,让学生对整篇文章有一定的了解,然后设计每段的精读任务。学生的完成情况来看,效果还是不错的,学生的阅读技巧得到了一定的训练和提高。之后的Retelling环节可以看出学生对本篇课文的掌握还是不错的。
课本2d是让学生直接显一篇关于肖邦的生平,我灵活的处理了这部分教材。先是组织了一个小组活动,让学生谈论如何描述一个人的生平。通过学生讨论后的省城来看,学生对之前的阅读材料掌握的还是不错的,都能总结出如何以时间顺序写出一个人的生平及人生经历。之后的写作,三名到黑板上写的同学让我看到了孩子们的进步。Kelly改写了前面学习的关于莫言的文章,书写和表达都十分完美。Alex写了他喜欢的奥特曼的导演圆谷的人生,我们很多人只知道奥特曼不知道圆谷,虽然他有些个别的小错误,但大体框架如一般过去时态,任务生平等写的都十分出色。Berry写了他的偶像艾薇儿,详细介绍了她的生日从一年零,获得奖项等,让我们又认识了一位歌手,这里真想为他们的表现鼓掌。

本套教材八年级下册有8个单元,每个单元均为八页,分为Section A和Section B两部分。Section A是本单元基本的教学内容,包括词汇、语法、功能、一听力输入、口语输出、阅读输入为主要教学形式,是体验和感知语言的阶段。Section B是在Section A的基础上对单元话题内容的进一步拓展、尤其是词汇拓展。本部分在进一步听说练习的基础上重点发展学生的长篇阅读和写作能力。Section B主要是语言的学习、巩固和运用阶段。
Unit 1 When was he born? 的单元话题是谈论我们所欣赏的人。Section A从引导学生说说自己喜欢的体育明星开始展开后,呈现一些谈论所欣赏的认识能用到的表达方式,如:Who is that/ he/ she? He/ She can…,When was he/ she born? He was born …等。同事,呈现谈论名人生平与事迹是必然会用到的一些特殊疑问句,如:What …? When …? Where …? How …? 等。本部分要学习一些有关体育运动的词汇swimmer, basketball player, tennis player, football player, 以及一些相关词汇ice, stop, paint, flat等。目标语言是:When was he/ she born? When did he/ she…? How long did he/ she …? How old was he/she when he/she …?。Section B进一步拓展了People we admire这一话题,话题思维更为开阔,语言运用更为丰富。本部分通过听、说、读、写活动拓展话题,巩固相关语言知识。引导学生学会做人,励志图强,追求卓越,自强不息。
本单元的教学重点是一般过去时态,在一般过去时态下when引导的时间状语从句,when和how long等特殊疑问句及回答。难点是对重点的识记和运用。
本单元在灵活处理了本单元教材内容的基础上进行了整合,设计了六个课时,把Grammar-4c提到第一课时,利用之前学过的基础,复习一下一般过去时态;第二课时是Section A a-2d,听说课;第三课时为3a-3c,读写课;第四课时为Section B 1a-1e听说课;第五课时:Section B:2a-2e读写课;第六课时为复习课。
本节课(2a-2b)是第五课时,是Section B部分中的长篇阅读和写作能力的训练。语篇是关于音乐家肖邦(Chopin)的内容,并有紧跟的读后写作,按照读写课的方式处理。

Fryderyk Chopin课后反思
在备课过程中,我对教材进行了一定的加工,根据学生的实际,延伸拓展了教材的内容,课后,我对本节课进行了一下反思:
一、导入部分比较自然,巧妙。在本节课中,我利用中国的两位年轻的钢琴家,朗朗和李云迪引出钢琴家和肖邦国际钢琴比赛,引出肖邦这个人,并通过欣赏肖邦的著名钢琴曲Minute Waltz来激发学生的兴趣。学生能够迅速进入本节课的学习。

当然,本节课也有很多不足的地方,例如:
1. 学生的参与度不是很平衡。如大部分学生都能积极投入到课堂教学中来,并积极举手发言。课堂气氛比较活跃,学生参与了师生或生生之间的语言交流,锻炼了他们的合作能力。但很明显的,语言表达能力强的学生参与的机会相对要多,另有一些学生却习惯于当听众,很少发表自己的个人意见,也就是说在学习过程中学生的参与度不均衡,而这部分学生主要是学习困难生或对自己缺乏自信心的学生。
2. 个别学生的合作不主动。在开展教学活动时,个别小组出现“冷清”的场面,这些学生只顾自己独立思考,停留在独立学习的层次上,没有发挥合作学习的优势,使合作流于形式。
3. 写作由于时间关系,只讲评了三位在黑板上展示的同学的文章,其他同学的文章就没有时间一一看了,需要在课下进一步指导,以提高写作能力。
4. 情感教育一直是普遍不受关注的容易被忽视的细节,而这节课的教学内容穿插情感教育是很必要和明显的。在教学设计中我安排了情感目标---努力才能成就梦想。但在课堂教学中由于紧张丢掉了这部分内容。这也很令我沮丧。
总之,通过这次课,我会总结经验教训,在今后的教学中,逐步攻渐攻破各个难关。并不断吸收先进的英语教育教学理论,充实自己,完善自己的课堂教学。
关于课标的研究
英语课程标准要求英语教学应以学生为主体,以训练为主线,以能力的培养为宗旨。学生是学习活动的主人,教师是学习活动的组织者和引导者。教师要努力创设多种多样的方式和机会让学生通过自主合作,探究等学习方式进行学习,注重教与学的互动性和生生互动。
本节课是一节读写课,要求学生在读懂关于肖邦的生平的文章后,能够写出关于人物传记。
初三要求完成四级目标,总体描述为明确自己的学习需要和目标,对英语学习表现出较强的自信心。能在所社曰常交际情景中听懂对话和小故事。能就熟悉的生活话题交流信息和简单的意见。能读懂短片故事。能写便条和简单的书信。能尝试使用不同的教育资源,从口头和书面材料中提取信息,扩展知识,解决简单的问题并描述结果。能在学习中互相帮助,克服困难。能合理计划和安排学习任务,积极探索适合自己的学习方法。 在学习和曰常交际中能注意到中外文化差异。
具体到读的要求:能连贯流畅地朗读课文;能读懂说明文等应用文体的材料;能从简单的文章中找出有关的信息,理解大意;能根据上下文猜测生词的意思;能理解并结实图表提供的信息;能理解简易读物中的事件发生顺序和人物行为;能读懂简单的个人信件; 能使用汉英词典等工具书帮助阅读理解; 除教材外,课外阅读量应累计达到10万词以上。
具体到写的要求:能正确使用常用的标点符号;能使用简单的图表和海报等形式传达信息;能参照范例写出或回复简单的问候卡和邀请卡;能用短语或句子描述系列图片,编写简单的故事。
