Dear Richard,
Delighted to know that you are planning to visit Xi’an, I bet you’ll enjoy your trip in China. I can’t wait to share my travel plan with you.
Over the winter holiday, my parents and I are planning to go to Hangzhou to see the Linyin Temple. I’ve heard that it’s one of China’s most famous ancient Buddhist religious sites and I can’t wait to go. It is amazing that the temple complex covers an area of 87,000 square meters, consisting of various splendid halls, pagodas and caves.
We are also planning to visit the West Lake, known as its picturesque beauty! My parents are both looking forward to going to the Yuefei Temple, because they are history enthusiasts.
We are going there by plane, leaving on the morning of the first day of the holiday and arriving in about 2 hours. Upon arriving we are planning to taste Dongpo Pork. After unpacking our luggage in the hotel, we will start sightseeing soon.
I guess that's all for now. I'll write again and send photos. Hope to hear from you, sharing your trip in Xi’an. Wish you a pleasant journey.
Your friend,
Xiao Li
