Why could the Chinese ancient civilization survive for thousands of years
How would the Chinese writing system develop in the future
Apart from the contribution of the Chinese writing system, there are some other reasons. For example, our large territory, our population and the location of the nation all contribute to the continuation of our ancient civilization.
Now there are many applications that can transfer our voice into words. As a result, some vloggers choose to use these transferred words as their subtitles. But there are many mistakes in their subtitles. This may cause mislead for young students.
Besides, many of us type more often. When we need to write with pens and paper, we sometimes forget how to write some certain characters.
And because of less writing, some of us have poor handwriting, which is also not good.
So, I think these make it challenging for the future development of the Chinese writing system if we keep on doing like this.
