单元主题 意义 本单元主题为Transportation (交通方式)。本单元的功能话题是谈论上学的交通方式,这是一个贴近学生校园生活的话题,内容有趣不陌生,能够吸引学生的兴趣,也是日常对话的话题之一。在相互谈论上学或去某地的交通方式中,操练本单元的功能句型和词汇,培养学生灵活运用所学语言的能力。借助图片读懂某些特殊交通方式的基本信息,并完成关于交通工具的思维导图的小制作。同时了解部分交通工具的使用规则,懂得12岁之前不能在公路上骑自行车等交通安全规则.
教学内容分析 1.来源&内容: 本单元来自人教版(新起点)第三个单元,本单元的话题是Transportation.单元本单元的主情境图为上学路上,大街上呈现一派忙碌的景象,同学们相互询问使用什么交通工具上学。呈现了重点句型: How do you usually … 及答句: I usually …on foot/ by bus / ...本单元还设置了字母组合ar在单词中的发音规律的环节,并能够根据发音规律听音写出相应的单词。基于对教材的理解和对学生的学情分析,从单元整体教学思想的角度,从语义理解、语用功能的实现以及情感的推进来设计教学内容和过程。 2. 纵向知识关联: 功能:谈论,交流。 话题:交通方式。 语言知识: 1BUnit 3 Toysplane, train, car.
3. 横向知识关联: 在一年级下册,学生已经学过一些关于交通工具的词汇,能够用简单的句子讨论有关的内容。因此教师要帮助学生将所学知识进行温故知新的指导,使得学生能结合本单元的内容来进行语言运用,提高思维和表达的能力。 4. 单元探究设计:
学情分析 1.年龄特征: 本单元的教授对象为四年级的学生。四年级学生生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,有着极强的求知欲强和表现欲,模仿能力强。经过两年多的英语学习,学生已经逐渐形成了良好的英语语感,能进行简单的英语表达,喜欢歌谣和对话表演,大部分学生具备初步阅读并获取关键信息的能力。 2.知识储备: 他们已经掌握了一些关于交通工具的词汇,如:bike, car, bus, …等等,本单元就交通方式的话题来展开,对学生来说既有趣又简单。二年级和四年级学过一些地点名词和一些活动项目的短语
3.能力水平: 四年级的学生已具备能够正确听说的能力,模仿能力也相对低年级来说有水平有所提高。
单元目标 在本单元教学结束之际,学生能: 1. 能听、说、读、写核心词汇usually, by bus, by boat, by ship, by car, by taxi, by bike, on foot, by school bus, by subway, by plane, by train, garden, meeting place, gate, transportation, film, earth, snow, theatre, come, enjoy, park, apple. 2. 能在语境中学习句型How do you usually ... 及答句: I usually ... on foot/by bus /... 3. 能在语境中运用合适的句型和同伴进行对话练习。 4. 能读懂故事Story time,并能复述和表演故事情节。 5. 能够借助熟悉的旧单词和图片感知字母组合ar的发音规律,并尝试读出含上述字母组合的全新单词。. 6. 能够通过完成课堂上的各种活动或游戏,在恰当的情境下正确运用所学的词汇与交际用语,积极参与、善于合作,并能大胆表达自己的观点。
第一课时教学设计
一、语篇研读
What: 该语篇为一篇对话文本,标题为I usually go to school by bike. 主要内容是Joe想知道同学们通常是怎样来学校的,主要围绕交通方式为话题展开。
Why: 教学的最终目标谈论交通方式,让学生了解这些交通工具的英文名词并在不同的交通工具中了解到它们各自的特点。
How: 语篇是一篇日常口语对话,对话涉及词汇: usually, by bus, by boat, by ship, by car, by taxi, by bike, on foot, by school bus, by subway, by plane, by train.以及表达交通方式的句型I usually go to school by ...
二、教学目标
通过本课学习,学生能够:
1.能正确听,读词汇usually, by bus, by boat, by ship, by car, by taxi, by bike, on foot, by school bus, by subway, by plane, by train.

Let’s write. 教师指导学生根据实际情况写一写自己上学或去其他地方的方式。 注意书写规范。 3. Look and learn. 教师展示有关频度副词的图形讲解,引出usually. 学生观察并总结这些频度副词的用法。 根据本课的学习情况,学生自测并填写自测表。 教师观察学生能否对核心语言进行有效应用。能否在任务中进一步增强语言学习的兴趣。学生自我评判语言词汇掌握的能力,并能对同伴的表现进行客观评价。 教师观察学生能否规范书写,能否在模仿的同时发现问题并及时提供帮助,启发思维,引导学生自主发现问题,解决问题。
设计意图:本阶段学习活动引导学生在归纳和整理核心句型的基础上,通过对课文的理解每位学生都能深入语言,并运用语言,引导学生从学习理解过渡到应用实践,能够自然渗透情感教育。
