单元解读
本单元融合了“人与自我”和“人与社会” 两大范畴。在“人与自我” 方面，有关学生自我身份的转变与适应，即从小学过渡到初中的心理调适与成长准备；在“人与社会”方面，聚焦于学生对新环境的探索与接纳，包括新学校、新同学、新老师以及新的学习生活方式。 单元主题意义：Welcome to Junior High这一主题旨在为学生营造一个温馨、包容的学习氛围，帮助学生顺利过渡到初中生活，感受成长的喜悦与挑战。通过本单元的学习，学生能够认识自我身份的转变、提高适应能力、增强探索精神、促进同伴交往、提升归属感，开启一段充满希望与梦想的新旅程。 本单元语篇内容围绕preparations tor junior high展开，使学生在学习完十个语篇后了解进人初中学习需要做的准备。先从物质上做好准备，以便有条不紊、从容不迫地迎接开学第一天。到新学校后尽快熟悉新环境、结识新同学、融入新集体，开启新的学校生活，制订新的目标，并付诸行动，为实现目标而努力。Get ready：学生整理好学习用品、教科书，准备好得体的着装，为开启初中生活做好物质准备。Know your school：学生了解校园中不同建筑和区域的用途、功能，熟悉即将学习和生活三年的新环境。Introduce yourself： 学生介绍自己的姓名、兴趣爱好和暑假经历等，在初中结交新朋友，尽快融人班级大家庭。Hold a party：学生通过集体活动增强班级凝聚力和团队协作能力，分享自己的愿望和计划，为开启初中生活做好心理准备。
语篇研读
What: 本课时语篇是朱小萌同学在班上的自我介绍，内容包括自己的姓名、爱好、暑假经历、性格、来到新学校的感受以及想与大家交朋友的愿望。 Why: 学生通过有效的自我介绍，展示自己的个性、兴趣和特长，帮助他人更好地了解和记住自己，从而促进彼此之间的交流和友谊的建立，建立自信的重要途径，锻炼公众演讲的技能，增强自我表达的能力和自信心。 How: 本课时语篇体裁为speech。本部分主要复习和学习自我介绍的相关表达、一般现在时、一般过去时和三种基本句型。
学情分析
本班级学生的英语语言能力、文化意识、思维品质、学习能力方面参差不齐，教师在教学设计时要面向全体学生，对学生抱有合理期待，让他们获得积极学习体验，感受到学习的乐趣和教师的信任。 Know：学生对于自我介绍这个话题比较熟悉，大部分学生能表述介绍name，age，class等方面的简单句型，能使用like，love，sport等关于爱好的词汇。 Want：学生期待通过本课语篇学习，更深入掌握自我介绍的不同方面，尽可能多的掌握本板块的核心词汇和句型。 Learn：学生自我建构思维导图，能使用核心词汇和句型介绍自己的姓名、爱好、暑假经历、性格、感受等。
