Step 1 Warm up and lead in Let's look and act Act out the verb phrases, and others guess. Let's read and help We received lots of applications.Many students want to be volunteers.But it rained.Some of the applications got wet .Can you help to fill them up Finish4a:Fill in the blanks with the phrasal verbs in the box. Then let students read the phrases. Step2 Grammar Definition of “infinitives”
1).动词不定式的基本形式是“to+动词原形”,有时可以不带to。动词不定式没有人称和数的变化,在句子中不能作谓语。动词不定式仍保留动词的特点,即可以有自己的宾语和状语。动词不定式同它的宾语或状语构成的不定式短语。例如:to read the newspaper, to speak at the meeting等。 2).动词不定式具有名词、形容词和副词的特征,因此在句中可以作主语、宾语、宾语补足语、定语和状语等。 2.Summary of the usage”infinitives” 1)充当作主语: 动It’s very useful to learn foreign languages. 词不定式作主语时,常用it作形式主语,而将不定式放在后面作真正的主语。 2)充当作宾语:主语+谓语V. + to do 不定式常出现在一些及物动词后,常见的及动词有expect,want , plan , agree , learn,decide,choose等 I want to talk with you. 我想和你谈谈 She has decided to leave . 她决定要离开 We plan to have a picnic on the hill. 我们计划去山上野餐 充当宾语补足语: ①动词+sb +to do sth 常接不定式作宾语补足语的词有tell, ask, want, teach, allow, promise, order, advise, expect, wish, invite, encourage 等。 They asked him to sing a pop song at the party. ②动词+sb +(to )do sth
