Space travel is nothing new. The first spaceship with a human was sent up into space in 1961.

The earth is a planet and it goes around
the sun. Seven other planets also go
around the sun. None of them has an
environment like that of the earth, so
scientists do not think they will find life

called the solar system, and our solar

Galaxy or the Milky Way. There are
billions of stars in the Galaxy, and our
sun is only one of them.

Scientists have sent spaceships to the
planet Mars to take photos. They have
even sent spaceships to travel outside

火星（Mars）是太阳系八大行星之一，是太阳系由内往外数的第四颗行星，属于类地行星。直径约为地球的一半，自转轴倾角、周期均与地球相近，公转一周约为地球公转时间的两倍。橘红色外表是因为地表的赤铁矿（氧化铁）。火星地表沙丘、砾石遍布，没有稳定的液态水体。二氧化碳为主的大气既稀薄又寒冷，沙尘悬浮其中，每年常有尘暴发生。2015年9月28日，美国航天局NASA宣布火星存在流动水。
