教学内容
本节课是北师大版小学英语五年级上册第三单元第四课的“Read”部分,短文采用信的形式,讲述了孩子们春节的着装。
教学目标
1. 能听懂、会说、会认识单词 “lantern”和短语 “be wearing”“have a good time”
2. 能理解短文大意,能回答与短文内容相关的问题
3. 通过对本课的学习,使学生了解信件的格式,以及春节穿新衣的习俗,并习得描述人物服装的技能。
教学重难点
1. 理解并掌握本课的重点生词和词组;
2. 理解短文大意,并能回答与课文内容相关的问题;
3. 能够看图描述图片内容。
教学过程
Step 1 热身,激活语言背景:
生唱:This is the way we wash our socks…(从歌词中复习所提到的衣物)
认图:What’s in my hand (认读衣物图片,激活词汇知识)
猜名字:She is wearing …and … Who is she (教师描述学生猜,学生描述教师猜相结合,激活短文主要句型be wearing)
Step 2 初读,识文章背景和文体
看图猜节日
Look at the pictures, what are they doing (老师通过动作提示生注意作揖的姿势) What’s this (观察红灯笼,通过图片认读生词lantern)
Guess what they are saying (提供选择:Happy birthday?Merry Christmas Happy New Year )
初读识文体 (要求快读,检验是否中国新年)
From reading we can see: It is a ______from _____ to ______.
Step 3 略读,找出人物线索
1分钟略读,找出信中出现几个人物以及人物的名字。
How many kids are there And what are their names Skim the text and find out.
(学生读完后,从名字贴纸中找到信中提到人物的名字,贴在黑板的表格中。)
Step 4 找读,找出文中衣物线索
Today is Chinese New Year. They (指着贴着的人名) all wear new clothes. How many kinds of clothes are there What are they What color are these clothes Let’s read the letter again.
(同样贴图示出文中出现的衣物及颜色)
Step 5 细读,理清人物与衣着的关系
提出疑问 Who is wearing a red sweater Who is wearing a yellow hat Guess and make a picture.
让学生把人物和衣物贴合成一个人的形象
通过再读确认组合的对不对。Let’s read again, and check your answers.
让学生评价贴图的对错,找出文中的原句,作为判断依据。
完成课本上的连线活动。
把第二段每个句子打乱顺序,让学生重组。

Step 6 测试,检验文本理解情况

Step 7 分享,描述家庭图片
师先描述自己准备的图片,作为示范。然后让学生结合自己的穿着进行描述,接着描述图片
Li Jie shares his pictures and writes a letter to his friend. I want to share my pictures, too.
Today is my grandma’s birthday. This is … She is wearing…
学生同桌互相练习后,上台展示。
