教学内容分析：
本单元主要学习衣着方面词汇，第一课时主要是本单元的故事教学。
Let’s Read 部分，主要提高学生阅读理解的能力和拓展语言知识，在真实、自然的语境中复习、巩固语言知识。
学情分析：
五年级的小朋友们思维活跃，敢大胆探究，乐于分享。
孩子们已经学过相关服装的英文词汇，并能简单谈论有关服装话题的内容。
有一定的母语阅读基础，但在英语阅读方面需要更多引导，逐步培养良好的阅读习惯和有效的阅读技巧。
教学设计：
课 题 Unit 3 Clothes (Let’s talk) 课 时 1
教学目标（分层） To understand the letter and get the key information to finish the related exercises. To develop their abilities to read and understand.To help the students use thinking map to help themselves while reading.
教 学重难点 I: 1) to review vocabulary about clothes. 2) to understand the letter and get information for exercises.D: To develop students’ abilities to read and solve problems.

Lead in 2. Listen and tell us which boy is Jack.Jack is confused today. He received a letter with two pictures. He can’t tell who is who. Can you help him How can we help Jack Listen, look and guess.S1 will describe a person.Others will listen and guess.Listen and try to help Jack. Have the Ss become interested in this class. Arouse their interests.
Skim 3. Skim (1 minute)Questions:Who wrote the letter to Jack How many people are there in this letter Who are they Look, read and try to answer questions.Li Jie wrote the letter.There are 3 people in this letter.They are Li Jie, Tim and Li Jia. To train their reading ability. (skimming)

Let’s work together to help Jack.Demonstrate the way how T finds the answer and makes the diagram.Now please find the rest clue and make your own diagram.
