教材内容分析 本课时为本单元第一课时,是一节听说课。活动1a-1c通过语境呈现和复现动词短语,侧重get,buy等动词引起的相关日常活动短语,同时呈现本单元重点句型结构。2a-2c通过听说活动将相关语言知识和听说技能相结合,加强综合性语言输入。
重点 有关日常活动的短语和相关处所名词,以及含有wh-疑问句的宾语从句;学会得体地运用礼貌语句问路或咨询信息,以及礼貌、得体地指路及提供信息;
难点 形成在语言运用时的得体性意识;
学情分析 学生通过七年级下Unit 8 Is there post office near here 的学习,对问路这一话题已经并不陌生,而且对此具备一定的语言积累和表达能力,这是学习本单元的优势。此外,学生刚进入九年级,积极性较高,英语水平发展比较均衡,有利于教学活动的开展和教学效果的实现。教师应积极鼓励、激发学生的兴趣并辅以灵活多样的教学活动设计,引导学生深入语言实践,渗透学法指导,进而引导学生逐步养成或巩固原有的良好学习习惯。

While-listeningⅠ. Listen and complete the conversations in the picture in 1a. Then report their answers to have a check. Step 4. Post-listeningⅠ. Work with their partners and practice the target language. Sa: Sure, just go along Main Street until you pass Center Street. The bookstore is on your right, beside the bank. Step 5. ListeningⅡ. Read the instructions first. Listen and number the directions in the order they hear them. Listen again. Draw a line in the picture above to show how the boy walks to the supermarket. Check the answers by retelling the route. Sa: Excuse me, do you know where I can... Sb: Sure, ... Step 6. Role-play. Read the conversation and answer the questions. Sa: Fun Times Park. Sb: There’s Space World, Water World, Animal World, ... Sc: Restroom. Sd: A place people can rest. Listen to the conversation and find out the phrases. Role-play the conversation. Step 7. Summary. Have a summary of the useful expressions and sentences with the T’s help. T: We are from future. We want to live on the earth. We can reach the earth by spaceships. Please translate the new words. T: Here we come. We plan to get some money, buy some stamps and get a dictionary. But we don't know the places.
