核心素养与思政渗透 随着年龄的增长、时间的推移,人们的相貌、性格、兴趣爱好可能会发生变化,人们的行为习惯、生活环境也会发生些许变化。本课时就是以“我们所发生的变化”为话题,谈论变化,运用目标语言(如used to等 )描述自己生活中的一些变化情况。通过本节课的学习,夯实学生的有关语言知识,发展学生的语言运用能力以及思维能力,培养学生积极的情感态度,让其明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养其积极向上的心态;同时,能够运用有效的学习策略来完成学习任务。
课标分析 新课标要求九年级学生能分析和梳理常见书面语篇的基本结构特征;能用简单的连接词建立语义联系;在书面表达中,选用不同句式结构和时态,描述和介绍身边的人、事物或事件,表达情感、态度、观点和意图等;能多角度、辩证地看待事物和分析问题;有正确的价值观和积极向上的情感态度;能主动反思自己英语学习中的进步与不足,根据问题查找原因并加以解决。
教学目标 语言能力 能够围绕“我们所发生的变化”的话题,通过看、读、说等活动搜集、理解所需要的语言基础信息;能够正确使用used to结构等多种时态谈论人物和环境所发生的变化;

教材内容分析 本课是一节以话题为核心的写作课,主要内容是围绕自己各方面所发生的变化进行书面表达以及复习巩固本单元的主要表达方式与结构。3a要求学生通过自己罗列和同伴交流收集有关自己在外貌、性格、兴趣爱好等方面的变化;3b提供文章框架和部分句型结构,帮助学生构建语篇支架和巩固目标语言。
重点 本单元所学关于“我们所发生的变化”话题下的词汇和used to结构的正确运用;学会写作,描述自己生活中的一些变化情况;
难点 采取说明文的体裁,运用多种时态,有逻辑、有条理、有感情地描述自己生活中的一些变化情况。
学情分析 本课时话题涉及谈论自己和他人过去的性格、外貌、特点及爱好等,借此巩固运用used to这一特有的用来表述过去经历和习惯的语言结构。这一话题与学生的生活关系紧密,他们接受起来比较容易,也具备一定的写作技巧和句型基础,但在写作素材的积累、文章的组织方面还需要老师的进一步指导和引导。

Step 1. Lead-in. Watch the video and get to know the topic of this lesson. Ss: Yes./ No. Step 2. Pre-writing. Vocabulary collections. Look at the picture and think of some vocabulary about people’s looks. Sa: Thin./ Strong. / Slim. / of medium height. / ... Sb: big eyes./ straight hair./ ... Sc: Wear glasses./ in red./ ... Translate the words into English. Have a brainstorming of the words about hobbies. Sentence collections. Fill in the blanks. Read the sentences one by one in class. Read the sentences T offer on the left. Have a communication with their partners about how to make the sentences better. Then share their answers in class and learn T’s methods. Step 3. While-writingⅠ. Checking. With the help of T, analyze the topic, the tense, the person, the text type of the passage and the information points they will write. Making an outline. Think about the beginning, body and ending part. Try to come up with some useful sentence structures. Writing. After drawing the outline, write a passage based on it. Eight minutes will be given. Step 4. Post-writingⅠ. Then share their passage with partners and evaluate each other according to the evaluation sheet. Appreciate the sample writing and sum up what a good article needs. Step 5. While-writingⅡ. 1.Checking. With the help of T, analyze the topic, the tense, the person, the text type of the passage and the information points they will write. 2.Making an outline. Think about the beginning, body and ending part. Try to come up with some useful sentence structures. 3.Writing. After drawing the outline, write a passage based on it. Eight minutes will be given. Conclusion. Sum up a common structure about the passage about “change”. T: Time is always moving and as time moves, things change. Things change from the past to present and will change into the future. People change, too. T: Do you remember what your childhood was like Play a video about a girl’s childhood. Present some pictures about people’s appearance and remind Ss of the words and phrases they’ve learned before. Present some Chinese meaning about people’s personality. Ask Ss to think of some phrases about habits at school and at home. Provide some sentences to talk about people’s changes. Let Ss complete them. Guide Ss to make the sentences better by adding some prepositions and conjunctions and by adding more specific behaviors. Provide some sentence structures to lead Ss to talk about their favorite things. Ask Ss to read the instruction and underline some key words. Provide the main structure and example sentences to help Ss. Provide some tips for Ss to write beautiful sentences. While Ss are writing, walk around the classroom to offer help if they need. After Ss finish writing, let them have a self-check for 3 minutes. Pick out one or two examples to evaluate in class. Guide Ss to better their writing.
