(1)When I was a little boy, my grandma told me the story of Change.
when 在此作连词,表示“当...的时候”,相当于“at the time that…”它在此引导时间状语从句,用来说明主句动词动作发生的背景.从句可以位于主句之前或之后,当从句在前时,主从句之间用逗号隔开.When既可以与延续性动词连用,也可以和短暂性动词连用.时态:引导的时间状语从句要遵循主,从句时态呼应规律:既主句是一般现在时(包括祈使句和含有情态动词can,may,must等),从句也用一般现在时;主句是一般过去式时,从句一般也要用过去式的相应时态;主句是一般将来时时,从句要用一般现在时表示将来.

However表示转折时,意为“可是,仍然”等,可放在句首,句中和句末,通常用逗号与句子 其他成分隔开.同义词but. However用的场合比较正式,多用于书面语;而 but常用语口语.
Ex:

(3)wonder v 好奇,想知道.与want to know同义.作动词,其后可接”疑问词+动词不定式”以及由if或特殊疑问词why,when等引导的从句作宾语.I wonder...我想知道...
