考点探究
在完形填空中,词汇衔接一般指某一词汇以原词、词形变化、同义词/近义词、反义词、同畴词等形式重复出现在语篇之中。语篇中的句子因而相互连贯,意义表达才能完整。这是完形填空试题中常用的一种测试手段,主要考查学生的整体篇章理解能力。
例:On Oct. 11, hundreds of runners competed in a cross-country race in Minnesota. Melanie Bailey should have finished the course earlier than she did. Her delay came because she was carrying a across the finish line. (2023年新高考全国Ⅰ卷)
