1．past prep. 经过（不能单独做谓语），常与动词go, walk, run等连用做谓语。
go past / by = walk past / by 走过，路过。
eg: Jenny went past Danny without a word．
pass v.
①经过,eg: the train passed the station.
②传递,递给;常跟双宾语 pass sb．sth. = pass sth. to sb．
2．cross v.（从表面）穿过，横穿。
cross the street
across prep.（从表面）穿过，常与动词搭配使用。
go across = cross
through prep.（从内部）穿过，常与动词搭配使用。
go through the door
3．point to 指向；表示指向距离较远的物，强调方向。
point at 指着；表示指着距离较近的物，强调对象。
point out 指出。
