一.教材及教学背景分析:
人教版初中八年级的英语教材从改版以来,教学的目标和教学的重点发生了变化。在提升学生英语综合能力的同时,通过丰富的课程内容以及积极探索的课程设置,让学生将语言学习融入到日常的生活之中,在英语教材中,充分体现英语文化和英语交流习惯的融汇,让学生真正在学习一门语言的同时,体会更加原汁原味的英语文化,从而人促进英语语言综合能力的全面提升。当前,立德树人的大背景下,各个学科在教学中都应该积极融入德育教育。人教版教材也在提升学生综合素养上提出了新的要求,在课程内容设置上,也充分体现了这一点。八年级的第二单元“I’ll help clean up the city park.”教学设计中,要充分考虑德育教育大背景和整个教材的教学目标来开展教学的相关内容。
二、学情分析
“听说读写”能力的综合提升,才能未来中考英语考察的重要方向。“reading”是英语能力中十分重要的一个能力,通过阅读,才能掌握更多的词汇和语法结构,从而提升英语综合应用能力。且根据最近几年的中考命题趋势和内容看,阅读的广度和深度都有所加强,这样“reading”能力的提升在未来将决定中学生的升学成绩,同时也成为当前教学的一个重要侧重点。教师应针对这一现象激发学生的兴趣,设计出适合学生的活动并且需要注意学生的过程性评价。
笔者所在的班级学生英语基础一般,虽然反应能力和接受能力强,但是阅读兴趣不高,主动阅读和应用阅读内容的能力有待加强。个别学生有自主阅读习惯,但是大多数学生对于教材中的阅读内容掌握不够扎实,体会并不够深刻。通过unit 2 Section B reading教学设计,来有效改善当前的学习效果,培养学生主动阅读的兴趣,将本单元的阅读内容向深处挖掘。以提升学生的英语综合能力,进而提升应对考试的能力。
三、教学目标:
1.语言能力
1)能听说读写重点词汇和句型
2)能运用重点句型谈论介绍生活中哪些人需要帮助,他们遇到的困难都是什么。掌握“could”“help”词语和句式的使用。
2. 思维品质:通过本课的学习学生能激发学生助人为乐的品质,将中华传统的助人为乐的德育教育与本单元的阅读话题紧密结合。以达到在英语教学中融入德育教育的目的。
3. 文化意识
通过本节课的学习,让学生更加深入理解助人美德,用英语练习写一封感谢信。
4.学习能力
通过该节课的阅读训练,让学生掌握帮助别人情形时的单词和对话内容。
四、 学习重点:
能运用重点句型谈论如何帮助别人,以及帮助别人时候的一些礼貌用语;通过阅读寻找对话细节信息的能力;理解词语的词性,并利用词性来解读词汇。
