教材分析:
教学内容是新标准英语(三年级起点)第五册Module 6 Unit 1 You can play football well.本课主要是以足球为话题展开的对话,由Lingling想成为一名足球运动员引出作为一名足球运动员所应该具备的素质,在对话过程中运用目标语句I/You can...well.对Lingling能力的肯定,并帮助她成为a fantastic goalkeeper。通过丰富多彩、形式活泼的各种教学活动使学生理解课文,学会用“I/ You can…well.”来肯定自己和他人。
学生分析:
教学对象是五年级学生,他们有两年的英语学习基础,积累了一定量的词汇和句型,比如在本课出现的词汇:high、jump等,句型Can you…?都已经在第三册英语书学过了。Can you…?又是这些学生最喜欢、学得最好的句型之一。这些,都为学好本课做好了铺垫。上课的学生既活泼好动,学习氛围又比较好,绝大部分学生对英语的学习兴趣浓厚。他们表现欲望很强,而且对单词的掌握能力及口语表达能力都比较好。因此,这节课操作起来应该比较轻松。

Knowledge objective:
1.To help students understand and speak the new words:really、fantastic 、team、goalkeeper.
2.Master the new words:well、badly、control、catch、team。 .
3. Master the new sentences: I/You can … well. I/You …badly. Can you…?Yes,Ican./No,I can’t.
Skill objectives:
1.Can use the new words in the real situations.
2.Can use the sentences “I/You can … well. I/You …badly.” to make self-assessment and evaluation of others.
Emotional objectives:
1.To help students certainly the advantages of others and correct understanding of their own.
2. To develop students’ interest in English learning.

1. Master the new words and use it in the real situations.
2. Master the new sentences and can use it to make self-assessment and evaluation of others.

1.To help students tell the different between catch and control.

Step1、Warm-up
1.Greeting:Good morning,boys and girls.
2.Do some TPR: (I say and you do) Review the phrases: watch TV, run fast, jump high, play football…
【设计意图:通过师生问候,拉近师生间的距离。课前用简单的游戏,对已学的动词词组进行了复习,为接下来的新课教学打下了良好的基础。通过比赛热身,也活跃了英语课堂】
Step2、Lead in
1. T: Can you play football

T:Today we will have a football competition.I will devide you into two teams: Red team and Blue team. After that present pictures of football team 、basketball team and table tennis team to help students to understand the meaning of team.Then teach“team” ↗↘ ,ea【 i:】
Have a competition:choose a row from each team to read the new word,which team is better will move a step.
【设计意图:通过Can you…?引出team,然后通过图片帮助学生理解和学习team,并把学生分成Red team and Blue team进行比赛,真正的运用到实际生活中。】
Step3、Presentation and practice
1.T present the tittle :Module 6 Unit 1 You can play football well.
2. Teach word “well”
T:Look!I can write. I can write well.(repeat it twice,and read well slow.)

practice and competition:read well two by two from each team.
3. Teach sentences: I/You can…well.
【设计意图:通过和旧单词wheel、will对比学习,加深well的认读能力。】
T:I can write well.What about you (present some pictures and guide students to use well to make sentences)
practice and competition:one team says I can…well.and the other says You can…well. which team says it corretly will move a step.
【设计意图:通过比赛的形式,用所学过的有关于东记其他能力的相关短语,再结合新单词造句,肯定自己能力,使学生正确的认识自己和评价他人。】
4.Use the same way to present and practice badly.
(以旧引新)bad,family → badly
Play a game: Hide cards. (Game ruler: One pupil hides the card, and anther one finds it. Others prompt by volume far from with lower, and near with louder. Time: 30 seconds.)
【设计意图:通过旧单词引出新单词,并提高学生自学单词的恩呢管理。设计游戏是为了进一步巩固well、badly。】
5. Teach words control and catch
① T:Look!What’s this (T show a football)
Ss:It’s a football.
T:Yes.You’re right.Who can control the ball (present control)
Competition: Control the ball. (Game ruler: One pupil in each team controls the ball. They must control the ball by foot and around the two chairs. Who is more quickly, Who is winner. Two times.)
The rest of students clap hands and say: Control, control , control the ball.
T:Can you control the ball well (ask the winner)
The winner:Yes.I can control the ball well.
The rest Ss: You can catch the ball well.
【设计意图:通过这个接球比赛,学生既操练到短语control the ball,句子Can you …well I/You can control the ball well.又可以活跃课堂,使全班同学都参与其中,快乐的学习英语。】

6. Learn the text:(With the help of CAI to present the text)
(1)Listen to the recording and answer these questions:
① Can Lingling run fast
② Can Lingling jump high
③ Can Lingling control the ball well
④ Can Lingling catch the ball well
⑤ So Lingling can be a good goalkeeper. Yes or No
(2)Listen and imitate the text and help student to learn the words:really,fantastic,goalkeeper.(这些都是认读单词,只要会认,会读)
(3)Read by themselves and read freely.

教 学 反 思
英语新课标指出:英语课程的学习,是学生通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合运用语言的能力。
本课的设计,我主要是以两组足球队比赛的形式展开各种活动,使学生积极参与并不知不觉地在各种活动中掌握了本模块的重难点内容。
我觉得我做得比较成功的是教学设计得很巧妙:一是通过比赛形式的活动,贯穿整节课的教学,使学生乐于比赛;同时将单词教学放在一定的情景中进行,做到“词不离句”;也注意以旧知识引新知识,使得学生既复习了旧知识又自学到新知识。教学衔接比较自然,一步步的引入,一步步的学习、巩固。
二是我在众多的比赛中,从不忘记语言的输入与输出,避免了将英语课上成一节竞赛课。特别说明的是由于本这节课主要学习如何评价自己和他人,学会用Can you …?向别人进行提问,并能用Yes, I can ./ No, I can’t .回答别人的提问,以及用I/ You can …well. I/ You…badly.来评价自己和他人和新单词:well,badly,catch,control,所以把新单词really,fantastic,goalkeeper的学习弱化,仅仅带读几次,稍微解释便可以了。
不足之处,就是在操练catch the ball和control the ball的时候,学生过于兴奋,场面有点乱,花的时间稍微长了点,以致后面让学生自由读书的时间就少了点。
