So cuddly are these animals with black and white spots that they look more like stuffed toys than real animals. There are only about 1,600 pandas living in the wild. In order to well protect them, a nature park has been set up recently in Sichuan , which is called Pandas’ Home. We hope one day we will have enough pandas to set free and let them live in the wild again.

The red-crowned cranes, a bird that we Chinese used to connect with beautiful myth and represents longevity in greetings. As its name implies, it has a“cap” of exposed red skin on its head. They have bright white bodies with black necks and wing feathers, living and migrating in flocks. Both the male and female build the nest ,the female usually laying two eggs that hatch at the same time.
However, with their habitat shrinking, they are on the verge of extinction. So let’s make joint efforts to protect them.
