Step 1 Warming-up
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
2. 复习单词pen, pencil, ruler, crayon, schoolbag, whose等及句型Whose ... is this?
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 利用学习用品和多媒体图片学习单词方位介词in, on, between, behind, in front of, beside。
T: Look at the picture. Where is she?
S1: She is in the bag.
T: Yes, she is in the bag. Let’s read the word “in”.
(1) 课件出示图1:看图回答:Where is Danny? 告诉学生“在两者之间”英语是:between 让学生试着回答:Danny is between the desk and the chair. (板书) 反复读两遍。
再列举几个例子练习:___ is between ___ and ____.
(2) 课件出示图2:看图回答:Where is Jenny/Kim? 告诉学生“在……旁边”英语是:beside。让学生试着回答:Jenny is beside Kim. Kim is beside Jenny.(板书)
(3) 课件出示图3:教师出示单词卡片behind, 表示“在……之后”;in front of表示“在……之前”。与学生互问互答。(板书)
T: Where is the girl?
Ss: She is behind the door.
(4) 观察句子,总结方位词表达位置的句子的顺序规律:某物+be+方位词+某地方的名词
(5) 利用多媒体图片学习名词library, playground, classroom。
2. 出示单词图片, 让学生跟读练习。
3. Practice
(1) 句型学习 Where is are …?
It is … They are …
当我们想要询问某人或某物的位置时,我们一般都要用到句型Where is are …? They are is…主语是单数,则后面谓语系动词要用is; 同样主语是复数,谓语系动词则要用are。
(2) 利用教室里的学生或学习用品的位置用这些方位词作对话。
—Where are your pens?
—They are in my pencil box.
—Where is she?
—She is behind Li Qiang.
4. Let’s play! 和学生一起做游戏。
教师将全班同学分成两组,人数相同,每组学生都只有一分钟时间,每组选出一个小老师,这个小老师利用教室里的物品,来向其他同学做动作。其他同学根据动作来说句子。哪一组在规定时间内说的句子多,哪一组就是赢者。
S1 puts the ball on the desk.
S2: The ball is on the desk.
S1 puts the pencil on the book.
S3: The pencil is on the book.
S1 puts the ruler in the pencil-case.
S4: The ruler is in the pencil case.
Step 3 Text learning
1. 看课本第10页,听录音,跟读对话。提醒学生注意模仿录音中的发音。
2. 小组内朗读课本上的对话,并表演对话。3. 分组完成11页Let’s do it. 并订正答案。
4. Letters and sounds.
先听录音,跟读字母及单词的发音;然后寻找发音规律:
y / ai / / j / ea / i: /
