Step 1 Warming-up
1. Let’s go to the zoo.
展示动物园的图片,让学生用英语来描述自己学过或了解过的关于动物的英文名称,并用汉语指出要学习的新动物名称。
复习上节课的单词和句型。
教师让学生复习panda, elephant, giraffe, monkey, short, long, trunk, tail, animal等单词,让学生进行Look at the ...的问答练习。
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 教师用多媒体展示图片,使用句型What is it?学习单词tiger, bear, lion, eat, sleep, run。
T:What is it?
S1:It’s a tiger.
T:Yes,read after me, “tiger”.
用同样的方法学习单词bear, lion。
2. Practice.
(1)朗读单词tiger, bear, lion, eat, sleep, run, panda, wolf, snake, funny, heaven, mate, again。
依次出示图片,教师领读,学生跟读。
(2)练习句子Let's go to the zoo. Look at the... What's the ... doing? The ... is ... 熟练掌握。
(3)随机抽查几组学生表演,检查一下读音是否准确,如果有不准确的,要及时给他们改正。读得好的小组给予掌声鼓励。
