Step 1 Warming-up
1. Let’s go to the zoo.
教师用多媒体展示图片，使用句型What is it? 让学生复习上节课的tiger， bear， lion, eat, sleep, run, panda, wolf, snake, funny, heaven, mate, again 等单词和 Look at the... What's the ... doing? 句型。
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 教师用多媒体展示图片，向学生介绍fish, bird, panda 的居住地 river, tree, forest。
T： Where does a fish live?
S1：A fish lives in a river.
T： Yes，read after me，“fish” ， “live” ， “river”.
用同样的方法学习单词forest, tree.
2. Practice.
（1）朗读单词forest， tree，river, live, bird。
依次出示图片，教师领读，学生跟读。
（2）练习句子Where does a ... live? A ... lives in...
（3）随机抽查几组学生表演，检查一下读音是否准确，如果有不准确的，要及时给他们改正。读得好的小组给予掌声鼓励。

1. 看课本第23页，听录音，跟读Pandas live in China部分。提醒学生注意他们的发音。
