教学目标
1.能听懂,会说并熟练背诵chicken, kangaroo, jump, vegetable等单词,会根据图片拼写单词。
2.能熟练掌握句型What are the animals doing? The ... are ...学会自己运用,熟练掌握对话技巧,并能轻松和同学进行自主对话。
教学重点
chicken, kangaroo等关于动物的单词以及vegetable等关于蔬菜的单词的听,读,写的能力。
教学难点
对What are the animals doing? 的运用和了解,对eat, live, jump这样的动词的简单了解和使用。

Step 1 Warming-up
1. Let’s go to the zoo.
教师用多媒体展示图片,使用句型Pandas eat bamboo. Tigers eat meat. 让学生复习上节课的bamboo, grass等单词和句型。
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 教师用多媒体展示图片,向学生介绍chicken, kangaroo, vegetable。
T: What are the lions doing?
S1:The lions are sleeping.
T: Yes,read after me,“lion”.
用同样的方法学习单词chicken, kangaroo.
2. Practice.
(1)朗读单词chicken, kangaroo, jump, vegetable。
依次出示图片,教师领读,学生跟读。
(2)练习句子What are the animals doing? The ... are ...
(3)随机抽查几组学生表演,检查一下读音是否准确,如果有不准确的,要及时给他们改正。读得好的小组给予掌声鼓励。

1. 看课本第27页,听录音,跟读Animals are our friends部分。提醒学生注意他们的发音
