Step 1: Warm-up
师生之间互相打招呼问好并自由对话(Free talk)营造上英语课的氛围,让学生进入学习英语的状态:Hello! Nice to meet you. How are you today? How’s the weather today? What day is today? How’s the weather today? Are you happy today?
Sept 2: Presentation
1.课件展示the Queen Bee和Billy Bee的图片,快速找出Who are they?学生说一说,然后课件展示the Queen Bee和Billy Bee. 引出新课:This class, we will study Lesson 12 《Billy Bee》. 出示课题,领读课题。
2.读第一幅图,回答问题:
a. What’s the matter with the Queen Bee?学生自主寻找答案,然后课件展示:She is very sick. 找学生说一说very sick的意思,然后出示死亡图片,学生单词:die, 理解the Queen Bee的病情非常严重,急需帮助。
b. What does she need?那她需要什么帮助呢?在故事中找一找,学生说一说,然后出示:蜂蜜图片,学习单词:honey,然后讲解:special honey,需要一种特殊的蜂蜜。
3.细读故事,看图回答问题。(在原文中圈出答案)
a. Where is the special honey? 如果我们是Billy Bee,我们最关心的问题就是:特殊的蜂蜜在哪里?学生自读找出答案,然后课件展示:The special honey is in Flower City.
b. Who can help the queen? 学生在文中圈出答案,找学生说一说,然后出示两只小蜜蜂的图片,他们的名字是:Billy Bee and Benny Bee.
c. May they go there by train? Why? 从第5幅图可以找到答案,No, because the train doesn’t go there.
d. Do they save the queen finally? 这个问题是我们最关心的问题,从第7幅图可以看出,The queen eats the honey and feels better. 由此我们可以知道,They save the queen finally.
