三、阅读理解(每小题2分,共20分)
While the COVID-19 pandemic(疫情) has stopped people from traveling to other cities, more and more people are interested in micro-tourism (微旅行). Micro-tourism refers to short-distance travel in which people drive two or three hours to a nearby place and spend two or three days.
Micro-tourism began to appear seven or eight years ago, but it has been popular since the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, the COVID-19 pandemic makes long trips more difficult, lots of Chinese people choose to take short trips instead.
Before the pandemic, Mark Hou from Beijing preferred taking long trips abroad or leaving Beijing to see places of interest in other Chinese provinces. But the COVID-19 pandemic changed his ways to travel. “If we want to travel a long trip, we must take planes, coaches or buses. There will be many people in it. At the same time that would be likely to increase the chances of infection. To stay healthy, short-distance travel is the better choice.” Hou said.
Hou has lots of fun during his short trips. After a long and tiring week at work, sometimes Hou with his friends just brings a tent, a camera, some food and water, and walks in the mountains or parks. Walking in the mountains, they not only get the fresh air and do some exercise, but also enjoy the beauty of flowers. When they feel tired, they can set up a tent to rest and have a picnic.
To develop the new way, many cities also create more opportunities for tourists. For example, Shanghai designs a number of micro-tourism products for half-day and one-day tours, including travelling around the city, experiencing countryside life and going hiking.
Travel doesn’t mean you need to go far away to find a resting place for your heart. That’s also the meaning of the micro-tourism.

My first time
Last summer, I went to Beijing with my parents. It was my first time to go to Beijing.
The first day we went to climb the Great Wall. It was very amazing. The next day we went to Tian’anmen Square in the morning. My parents and I felt very proud when we saw the national flag rise. Then we ate Beijing Duck at noon. It was so delicious that I want to eat again. On the last day of the trip, we went shopping and bought some gifts for my grandparents. We had a good time in Beijing!
My first trip not only opened up my eyes but also offered me sweet memories. I am looking forward to going on another trip soon.
