1.辨析：boring与bored
①boring烦人的，无聊的，指某人或某事物让人感到无聊常作定语或表语
②bored感觉厌烦的，厌倦的，常用来说明人的感受，人感到无聊， 常作表语
一言辨异：I am bored with the boring film.
我对那部无聊的电影感到厌倦。
［拓展］以－ing结尾的形容词多修饰或说明事物，有时也可以描述人，说明事物或人本身的特性；以－ed结尾的形容词多用来说明人的感受。
常见的这类单词有：
interesting 有趣的－interested感兴趣的
exciting使人兴奋的－excited兴奋的
relaxing 使人放松的－relaxed放松的
2.（not) atall
①一点儿也（不），根本（不）not一般与连系动词be、助动词或情态动词连用，而at all位于句末。
She doesn't like it at all. 她根本不喜欢它。
②别客气，常用于回答对方的感谢。
－Thank you very much. 非常感谢。
－Not at all. 别客气。
3.What's the matter 怎么了？
用来询问某人或某物出了什么状况或问题，后面可接with短语。
What's the matter with your eyes 你的眼睛怎么了？
What's the matter with Mrs Brown 布朗夫人怎么了？
［拓展］询问“ (某人／某物）怎么了？”的句型还有：

4.that's because. . . 那是因为……because 后的句子用以说明原因。
That's because I got up too late that moming. 那是因为我那天早晨起得太晚了。
［拓展］that'swhy. . . 那就是····的原因 why 后的句子用以说明结果。
That's why we were late for the meeting. 那就是我们开会迟到的原因。
5.miss
① [不及物动词］未击中；未达到
He fired,but missed. 他开了枪，但没有打中。
② [及物动词］未击中；未达到
Tony missed the basketball. What a pity!托尼没有抓住篮球，多可惜啊！
③ [及物动词］思念，怀念；错过；未出席，未出现
I miss my old classmates very much. 我非常思念我的老同学。
I can't miss two weeks of school. 我不能两周不上课。
6.Never mind. 不要紧，没关系。
mind [及物动词］介意；讨厌；反对，后面可接名词、代词或动词－ing形式作宾语，多用于疑问句或否定句。
－What do you think of the film 你觉得这部电影怎么样？
－I don't mind it. In fact,I'm not interested in films. 我不介意，事实上我对电影不感兴趣。
Do you mind (not) opening the window 你介意（不）打开窗户吗？
7.plenty of 大量；众多，既可以修饰可数名词复数，也可以修饰不可数名词，相当于a lot of/lots of.
