A seventh grader in Michigan is being called a hero for stopping his school bus from getting into an accident after the bus driver lost consciousness(意识).
On April 26, 2023, the bus driver was taking students home from school when she began to feel uncomfortable. She tried to stop the bus but didn't make it. Finally, she passed out(昏倒). The bus began to run into oncoming(迎面而来的) traffic.
That's when Dillon Reeves jumped into action. Dillon sat not far from the driver. He jumped up from his seat, threw his schoolbag down, ran to the front of the bus, caught the steering wheel(方向盘) and brought the bus to a stop in the middle of the road.
