hello interj. 你好;喂 hi interj. 嗨;喂
(1) hello和hi都是感叹词,是熟人之间在非正式场合下的问候语,可单独使用,也可加人名或称呼使用。
(2) hello和hi可互换,但hi比hello更随意、亲切。
—Hi/Hello,Cindy!Long time no see! 嗨/你好,辛迪!好久不见!
—Hi/Hello, Kate! Happy to see you. 嗨/你好,凯特!见到你很高兴。
(3) “say hi/hello to sb.”意为“向某人问好” 。
She often says hello to me from her front garden.她经常在她的前花园向我问好。
(4) “My name is…”意为“我的名字是······”,“I’m…”意为“我是······”,两个句型都可以用于介绍自己的姓名,其中“My name is…”可缩写为“My name’s…”,I’m是
I am的缩写。
My name is/My name’s Wang Gang. 我的名字是王刚。
I’m/I am Amy. 我是艾米。

—My name is Wang Mei. Nice to meet you!(教材P2 2)
(1)问句用于询问对方的姓名,答语常为“My name is.../I’m...”或直接说名字。问句中的your可以根据语境换成his/her/its,但对应答语中的代词也要更换。
—What’s her name 她叫什么名字?
—Her name is Anna. /She is Anna. /Anna. (她的名字是/她 是)安娜。
(2)有时出于礼貌,在询问对方姓名前会先介绍自己的姓名,也可在该句型后加上please以示礼貌。

—I’m Linda. /My name is Linda. /Linda.

(3)Nice to meet you.意为“很高兴见到你。”,为初次见面或经人介绍与某人相识时的打招呼用语,其答语常为“Nice to meet you, too.”。常见的打招呼用语还有:

same /se m/ adj.相同的;同一的
(1)通常与定冠词the连用,位于名词前作定语,修饰名词,其反义词为different。
