一、教材分析

二、教学目标
(一)知识目标

2. 学生能够理解并运用以下句型描述学校日程:
- I have... classes in the morning/afternoon.

1. 听:学生能够听懂关于学校课程安排和时间的简单对话和表述。

(一)教学重点

五、教学过程
(一)Warming-up
1. Greetings
- T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again.
- Ss: Hello, teacher. Nice to see you too.
- T: How was your weekend
- Ss: It was... (Students share their weekend experiences briefly.)

2. School song
- Play a short school-themed song, such as "School Days" on the multimedia. Let the students listen and sing along if they know the song.
设计意图:利用学校歌曲激发学生对学校生活的情感共鸣,快速将学生带入学校生活的情境中,为引出本节课的主题“学校日”做铺垫。
(二)Lead-in
1. Show a picture of a school on the multimedia and ask some questions about it.
- T: Look at this picture. What is this
- Ss: It's a school.
- T: Yes, it's a beautiful school. Do you like going to school
- Ss: Yes, we do.
- T: What do you do at school every day
- Ss may answer with various activities like studying, playing with friends, having classes etc.
- T: Today we are going to talk about our school day. Let's see what a typical school day looks like for us.
2. Write the title "My School Day" on the blackboard.
设计意图:通过展示学校图片,引导学生回忆学校生活中的日常活动,自然地引出本节课的主题,激发学生的学习兴趣和好奇心,让学生对即将学习的内容有一个初步的认识。
(三)Presentation
1. Learn new words
- Show a picture of a school timetable on the multimedia. Point to the different subjects and say their names one by one, for example: "This is Chinese. Chinese, C-H-I-N-E-S-E, Chinese." Write the word "Chinese" on the blackboard and let the students repeat several times.
- Use the same way to teach other subject words: math, English, science, history, geography, P.E. (Physical Education), art, music.
- After teaching all the subject words, show the words cards quickly and ask the students to say the words as fast as they can. Then ask some students to come to the front and pick up the cards of the subjects they know and say the words aloud.
- Teach the words related to time and school day sections, such as "morning, afternoon, evening", "class, lesson", "start, finish". Use real-life examples and actions to illustrate the meanings. For example, point to the morning time on a clock model and say "It's morning. We have classes in the morning." Demonstrate the action of starting and finishing something to teach "start" and "finish".

2. Drill the words
- Play a word game "Subject Bingo". Prepare some bingo cards with the subject words written on them. Each card has a different arrangement of the words. The teacher reads out the words randomly. If a student has the word that the teacher reads on their card, they can mark it. The first student to get a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) of marked words shouts "Bingo!" and wins the game.
- Divide the students into pairs. One student says a word related to school day (either a subject or a time-related word), and the other student has to act it out or draw a simple picture to represent the word. Then they switch roles.

3. Teach the sentences
- Write the sentence "I have... classes in the morning/afternoon." on the blackboard. Point to the timetable and say, for example: "I have three classes in the morning. They are Chinese, math and English." Have the students repeat the sentence and practice saying it with different numbers of classes and subjects based on the timetable.
- Ask some students "What's your favorite subject " and help them answer "My favorite subject is...". Write the sentence on the blackboard and let the students ask and answer in pairs. Encourage them to give reasons for their favorite subjects, such as "My favorite subject is music because I like singing."
- Write the sentence "The class starts at... and finishes at..." on the blackboard. Use the clock model to show different times and explain how to use this sentence to describe the start and end times of classes. For example, "The English class starts at 8:30 and finishes at 9:15." Have the students practice making sentences about the start and finish times of their own classes.

1. Listen and repeat
- Open the textbook to Lesson 1 "My School Day". Play the audio of the dialogue about students' school days. The students listen and repeat, paying attention to the pronunciation, intonation, and the use of the new words and sentences.
设计意图:让学生通过听录音跟读,模仿标准的语音语调,提高学生的听力和口语水平,同时熟悉教材中的对话内容和句型表达方式,为后续的口语练习打下基础。
2. Pair work
- Ask the students to work in pairs and look at their own timetable (if they have one). They take turns to introduce their school days to each other using the words and sentences they have learned. For example:
- A: I have four classes in the morning. They are Chinese, math, English and science. My favorite subject is English. The English class starts at 9:30 and finishes at 10:15. What about you
- B: I have three classes in the morning. They are Chinese, history and P.E. My favorite subject is P.E. because I like sports. The P.E. class starts at 10:30 and finishes at 11:15.
- Walk around the classroom and listen to the students' conversations. Provide guidance and correction if necessary. Then invite some pairs to come to the front and have a short conversation about their school days for the class to listen.

3. Group work - Make a group timetable
- Divide the students into groups of four or five. Each group is given a blank timetable template and some markers. The task is for the group to create a combined timetable for their group members, imagining that they are all in the same class. They need to fill in the subjects and the start and finish times for each class using the words and expressions they have learned.
- While the students are working on the timetable, walk around the groups and offer help and suggestions. When they finish, each group presents their timetable to the class and explains how they arranged the classes and why. The other groups can ask questions and give comments.

(五)Production
1. My school day report
- Ask the students to think about their own school day in more detail. They then write a short report about their school day, including the subjects they have, their favorite class and why they like it, and something interesting that happened during the school day. They should use the words and sentences they have learned to write the report.
- After writing, ask the students to read their reports aloud in groups. Each group member listens carefully and gives feedback and suggestions to each other. Then each group chooses one or two best reports to share with the whole class.
设计意图:让学生写关于自己学校日的报告,可以培养学生的写作能力和对学校生活的观察与思考能力。小组内朗读和交流报告可以让学生相互学习,提高学生的语言表达和评价能力。全班分享环节可以展示学生的学习成果,增强学生的自信心和成就感,同时也为其他学生提供更多的语言输入和学习灵感。
2. School day interview
- Pair the students up again. One student acts as a reporter and the other student as the interviewee. The reporter interviews the interviewee about their school day using the questions they have learned, such as "What classes do you have in the afternoon ", "When does your favorite class start ", "What do you usually do after school " etc. The interviewee answers the questions and tries to share some details and feelings.
- After a few minutes, the students switch roles and repeat the interview. Then each pair writes down a short summary of the interview, including the main information and any interesting points they found. They can share their summaries with the class if time permits.

(六)Summary
1. Review the words and sentences
- Show the words and sentences about school day on the multimedia again. Ask the students to read them together loudly and clearly.
- Have a quick quiz. Display some pictures related to school activities or times, and ask the students to say the corresponding words or make sentences using the learned patterns. For example, show a picture of a student reading a book in a classroom and ask the students to say "It's a Chinese class. The class starts at... (a certain time)."
设计意图:通过复习单词和句型,巩固本节课所学的重点知识。小测验可以检验学生的学习效果,及时发现学生的不足之处,进行针对性的复习和强化,帮助学生加深对知识的记忆和理解。
2. Summary the class
- T: Today we have learned a lot about our school day. We know the names of different subjects, how to talk about our class schedule, and express our favorite subjects. School days are full of learning and fun. I hope you can enjoy your school life and make good use of every day to learn and grow. Remember to use English to share your school experiences with your friends and teachers more often.

(七)Homework
1. Finish the exercise on the textbook related to Lesson 1 "My School Day".
2. Make a personal school day poster. On the poster, write your daily schedule in English, draw pictures to represent your favorite classes or activities, and write a short paragraph about your feelings towards your school day. Bring the poster to the next class and share it with your classmates.
