Verb is to say what someone or something does or what happens to them, or to give information about them.
Subject is part of a sentence indicates what it is about or who or what performs the action. It can be nouns, pronouns, -ing, to do, clauses

Subject + Predicative
She was a little anxious.
A predicative is part of a sentence used to describe the identity, nature, characteristics and state of the subject.
A predicative can be link-verbs or be with nouns, adjectives, -ing and –ed forms, to do and clauses.

Link verbs: seem, become, feel, remain, get, etc..
Subject + Verb + Object
She made new friends.
Object can be a noun, noun phrase, or pronoun, clauses that identifies what or who receives the action or the effect.

A direct object is the person or thing directly receives the action or effect of the verb.
An indirect object answers the question of to whom, for whom, or for what and accompanies a direct object.

The first high school day was a brand-new experience. Firstly, I arrived at school in the midst of my anxiety. There were many challenging courses, such as physics and geography. Fortunately, I found all of them really friendly and easy-going. We talked and laughed. After one day’s tough work, being a little bit tired, I enjoyed my first high school day.
