Recently, there is a heated discussion on whether to support the research and development of driverless cars. Some people argued that driverless cars can make our lives easier. However, others consider that they have a lot of potential risks. From my perspective, I agree to the latter opinion.
Firstly, driverless cars rely too much on satellites and the Internet, as a result, they cannot ensure the safety of passengers completely when there is no signal. Moreover, if some people with no driving ability can also own driverless cars, the traffic volume will be greatly increased. Lastly, the spread of driverless cars may make people who earn a living by driving jobless.
In conclusion, only when the potential risks are solved, will the development of driverless cars make sense.

Recently, there is a heated discussion on whether to support the research and development of driverless cars.
On the one hand, driverless cars provide us with many benifits. For example, they are convenient for someone who is unable to drive because of injury or exhaustion. Besides, according to studies, driverless cars are more effective at avoiding traffic accidents.
On the other hand, there are many potential risks with a driverless mode. Actually, diverless cars cannot ensure the safety of passengers completely when there is no signal. What’s more, the spread of driverless cars may make people who earn a living by driving jobless.
From my perspective, driverless cars are a symbol of technological progress. However, only when the potential risks are solved, will the development of driverless cars make sense.
