名词性从句导学案
Teaching objectives
Students can recognize the different noun clauses.
Students can master the functions of conjunctions and choose correct conjunctions for the noun clauses.
Students can translate Chinese into English with noun clauses.
Students can master the special rules about the four kinds of noun clauses.
Classifications of sentences
Compound sentence(并列句)
由并列连词but, and, or 连接。
Complex sentence(复合句)
主句+what, which, that 等引导词连接的从句
Introduce the functions of noun and noun clause.
Introduce the appositive clause.
定义:在复合句中作某一名词尤其是抽象名词的同位语(一般位于该名词之后,解释说明该名词的具体内容)的从句叫同位语从句。
常见的跟同位语从句的名词:fact, hope, idea, information, news, truth, suggestion, problem等抽象名词。
e.g.
We had better accept his suggestion that we (should) start right now.
He told me the news that he passed the exam.
The question whether we should invite a specialist depends on you.
The question who will take his place is still not clear.
表语从句的虚拟
1. He offers her a suggestion that she ______________ (finish) our homework in time.
2. The solider accepts his order that he ______________(retreat) from the frontline.
总结:名词suggestion,order,demand,command,proposal 等后的同位语从句要使用虚拟语气,即 should + do,should 可以省略。
Doubt后的同位语从句
1.There is some doubt ________they will come to help us.
2.I have no doubt ________he will win the game.
3.I never doubt ________he has the ability to win the game.
总结:用于肯定句时引导词用___________;用于否定句或者疑问句时引导词用____________。
同位语从句与定语从句的区别:
定义:同位语从句对某一名词进行进一步解释或补充说明;而定语从句对先行词起修饰或限定的作用。
1. The foreigner expressed the hope that he would come to China again.______________从句
2. I’ll remember the hope that the foreigner expressed to me.________________从句
总结:在定语从句中,that需要做成分,主语或宾语;而在同位语从句中,that只起到连接词的作用。
3. He made a promise that if anyone set him free he would make him very rich._____________
4. I still remember that the promise he made.__________________
5. I don't know the reason why he came so late.________________
6. There is a question why he was punished.___________________

注意:如何判断从句是否缺宾语:看从句谓语后面是否可以接上其他的名词,如果可以接上名词,那么可以接宾语;如果可以不用接上名词或者接不上名词则为不缺宾语。

注意事项一:

总结:名词性从句需要使用______________,不能用疑问句语序。
注意事项二:
That we should avoid being infected by the flu is important.

形式主语的基本结构:

注意事项三:

总结:
单个主语从句作主句主语,主句谓语动词用______;两个或两个以上的主语从句作主语,主句谓语动词用______。
注意事项四:

总结:1. 如果动词宾语后有补语,需要使用_______形式宾语,把宾语从句放在补语之后。
2. It 作形式宾语: 主语 + vt.(find/ feel/ think/ consider/ make/ believe) + it + 宾补+ that;
注意事项五:

总结:动词后面接多个that引导宾语从句,第一个that可以省略,但第二个及以后的宾语从句引导词that不能省。
注意事项六:
