This section aims to encourage students to reflect on the content learned in this unit about adolescent life and apply it to their own lives. 本节旨在让学生思考本单元所学的关于青少年生活的内容，并将所学应用于自己的生活。

教学重点： 1. Help students proficiently master the usage of vocabulary in this unit. 帮助学生熟练掌握本单元词汇的用法。 2. Help students proficiently master and apply the grammar of this unit. 帮助学生熟练掌握和运用本单元所学语法。
教学难点： 1. Students can proficiently master and apply the vocabulary and grammar of this unit. 学生能够熟练掌握和运用本单元词汇和语法。

Assessing Your Progress Step 1活动一: Exercises 完成课本第20页 Activity1 【设计意图】在情境中练习语言知识，一方面使学生愉快地参与练习活动，另一方面学生在熟悉的语境中可以更有效地复习词汇的用法。 Step 2活动二: Grammar Underline the noun/adjective/ adverb phrases in the passage and state their functions. 【设计意图】以语篇为依托，让学生在阅读的过程中更加直观地感受到不同类型短语的功能，同时该语篇对学生也起到了一定的激励作用。 Step 3活动三: Discussion Do you agree with the writer’s opinion Give your reasons. 【设计意图】通过阅读让学生根据本单元所学的内容给出自己关于读书和接受教育的看法，内化知识，加深学生对主题的深化，提高学生的批判性思维，从而在关注了语篇中三种短语的语法功能之外，还关注了语篇的意义建构。教师要关注意见的支撑性内容，以便评估学生的语言运用能力、信息加工能力和批判性思维能力的发展情况。 Step 4活动四 Reflecting 1.
