Step 2. While-reading (20mins) Title ①Show the picture of “Robin in the kitchen” Q: Where is Robin (看图) Q: What will Robin do (Guess) T: Look, where is Robin now What will he do →Robin will cook today. ②note T: But who will Robin cook for On the fridge, there are some paper, what are these E-mails or notes (teach notes). In our daily life, we can see notes on the blackboard, on the fridge, and for the birthday wishes. These two note is for Robin, so who will Robin cook for 贴板书 Binbin’s note T: Robin will cook for Binbin and grandpa, so Robin should know___________.(What’s their favourite food / What do they like / What don’t they like ) T: Now, let’s look at Binbin’s note. Read and find out the information. Read and circle.(阅读Binbin’s note,圈出关键词并回答问题) ①Read the note and answer the questions. (Underline the key words.) ②Check answer and show the form. Step3 Post-reading (10mins) Let’s write a note T: Chicken ice cream is so special. I hope Robin can cook for me, so I write a note to Robin. (T read the note, and ask ss: If you are Robin, what will you cook for me ) T: Do you want Robin to cook for you Now, you have chance to write a note to Robin , he will cook for you. Cook time Show ss’ notes according to the stars. Let students read their notes, T will be Robin and cook for students. T: Here you are. ________. Ss try to write the note to mom. S reads his note, and another student will be Robin and cook for him. Ss try to be Robin and cook for the student who reads the note. S1: Here you are! ______ is for you.(with the right action and tone)
Step4 Homework 1. Read “Robin will cook today” three times. 2. Ask your parents about their tastes, and try to cook for them. 3. Finish the workbook P18.
