Look at the sentences from the interview and answer the questions.
Which sentence signifies an activity in progress at a particular time in the future
Sentence (a)
Why does the author choose to use sentence (a) instead of sentence (b)
There is a typical adverbial of time "this time tomorrow", which refers to a future time point. Besides, sentence (a) better shows what "I" will be doing "this time tomorrow".
future continuous —将来进行时
构成:
肯定句;否定句;一般疑问句;特殊疑问句
用法:
表示将来某一时刻或某一时间段正在进行的或持续的动作。
将来进行时与一般将来时的区别
构成
肯定句:主语+will/shall(shall 用于第一人称)+be +v-ing...
否定句:主语+will/shall+not +be +v-ing...
一般疑问句:Will/Shall+主语 +be +v-ing...
特殊疑问句:疑问代词/疑问副词+will/shall+主语+be +v-ing...
疑问代词(主语)+will +be +v-ing...
You won't be driving any car in three years. 3年之内你不能再开车了。
Will you be staying here for long 你在这里待的时间长吗
用法
1. 指从现在算起将来某个时间正在进行的动作,或已经做好安排,认为某事肯定会发生。(常用的时间状语有:soon,tomorrow,this evening,on Sunday,by this time,tomorrow,in two days,tomorrow,evening等。)
This time next day they will be sitting in the cinema.
明天的这个时候他们将会坐在电影院里。
My grandparents will be coming over to my house next week.
我的祖父母下星期要来我家。
用法
2. 表示委婉语气
Will you be having some tea
你要喝茶吗?
3. 对未来的预测,并非人为安排
If you need me, I'll be working in the conference room.
如果你需要我,我会在会议室工作。
区分
将来进行时与一般将来时的区别:
①两者的基本用法不一样:将来进行时多表示将来某时正在进行的动作,一般将来时表示将来某时将要发生的动作。
She will be waiting for you at the school gate at 8 tomorrow morning.
她明天上午8点钟在校门口等你。

区分
现在完成时和现在完成进行时的区别:
②将来进行时表示“纯粹的将来”,指一种无意图的动作;一般将来时既可表“将来”也可表示“意志,意图”。

钱不会由玛丽来付。(纯粹的将来)
