Dear students,
When it comes to the person I respect most, Yuan Longping comes to my mind first, who is acknowledged as an agricultural pioneer of China.
Concerned that farmers often had poor harvest, Yuan Longping was committed to tackle this crisis. No matter how many technical difficulties he was faced with面对, he would never acknowledge defeat. Through trial and error通过反复试验, he eventually succeeded in developing the first hybrid rice, which enabled farmers to expand their output greatly.
Undoubtedly, he sets us teenagers a very good example with his perseverance and commitment. That’s why he deserves our respect. That’s all. Thanks for your listening.
