Share your story with your partner.
There is a small bike lying quietly in our garage. It is quite old and I can no longer ride it, but I still keep it there, as it brings back a sweet memory.
Many years ago, it was a Sunday morning on my sixth birthday. My father bought me a new bike. I could not wait to get on it and learn how to ride, so I begged my father to teach me in the garden. After I sat on the new bike, my father helped me put my two hands on the handlebars and my feet on the pedals. Then, he pushed the bike so that the pedals started to move. I was scared! But my father kept encouraging me. I could cycle around the garden shortly after my first try. It was amazing.
But unluckily, I was so busy waving at him that I didn't see a small tree in front of me. I hit it and fell off the bike. It hurt a lot and I started to cry. My father encouraged me to stand up, be brave and try again. Gradually, I was able to ride the bike more skillfully.
I kept riding the bike until it was too small for me. It is still one of my most precious possessions, for not only was it my first bike, but a symbol of my courage as well as my father's love. And I learnt that love has great power.

Then Jeff noticed steam shooting out of the pot and the lid starting to shake.The next minute,the porridgeboiled over and put out the fire.Jenna panicked.Thankfully,Jeff stayed calm and turned off the gas quickly.But thestove was a mess now.Jenna told Jef to clean it up so they could continue to cook the rest of the porridge.But Jeffshand touched the hot burner and he gave a cry of pain.Jenna made him put his hand in cold water.Then she caughtthe smell of burning.Oh dear!The piece of bread in the pan had turned black as well.
