3. whose。设空处引导非限制性定语从句,补充说明先行词books,且设空处在从句中作从covers的定语,故填whose。
4. which。设空处引导非限制性定语从句,指代整个主句的内容,且在从句中作主语,故填which。

It has given her the time to get used to the English way of life and how different everyday English is from the English spoken on the tapes she studied at home.
