三、教学过程
1. Warming up
Greet students by asking and guessing where they come from and where the teacher comes from. Then let students look at the PPT and guess where they come from and learn their customs.
设计意图:引出后面对于各国的礼仪学习,让学生初步感知各国礼仪并教授生词。
2. Presentation
Show students the target sentence: be supposed to / expected to. After that let students fill in the blanks of the question and answer and learn to ask and answer step by step.
设计意图:通过第一次展示目标句型,第二次挖空个别单词,第三次挖空个别句子,第四次全部挖空的形式,让学生在循序渐进中掌握目标句型。
3. Consolidation
Step 1
Get students do 1a and 1b on page 73.
设计意图:让学生巩固各国礼仪
Step 2
Get students listen again and match the names with the people in the picture in 1b
设计意图:进一步加大听力题目的难度,让学生能通过结合书本图片的形式加深对听力材料的理解
Step 3
Ask students fill in the blanks according to the tape.
设计意图:通过对听力原文的处理,让学生在理解的基础上填出重点字词。
Step 4
Let students look at the picture in 2a and answer two questions:
Q1: Is it an outdoor party or indoor party?
Q2: What are people supposed to do at outdoor parties?
设计意图:引出第二个听力练习,首先向学生展示图片并提问,既让学生运用了一次目标句型,又让学生能对第二个听力内容有所预知。

Listen to the tape and finish 2a and 2b in the book.

Step 6
Help students summarize the conversation and let students to retell the conversation by using the main sentence learnt today.

4. Summary
Let students watch 4 short videos and summarize what they have learned today.

5. Homework
