单元主题分析
本单元 本单元主题:Meet my friends。该主题属于“人与自我”“人与社会”的范畴,涉及到的是“生活与学习”,本单元的子主题是“Introduce my friend to my family"Introduce my friend to my friend"Draw about my friend"Write about my friend""Happy time with my friend”。学习询问他人的姓名和描述他人的外貌性格特征的语言,引导学生学会与家人分享自己认识的人和事,拉近与家人之间的距离,搭建心灵沟通的桥梁。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级上册第三单元,本单元主题是“Meet my friend"这个话题,重点学习如何向他人介绍自己的好朋友,以及养成良好的学习生活习惯”的表达方式。四年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力,能够听懂、会说一些简单的语言,能在教师指导下初步形成规范的学习习惯,对课堂上的大多数学习活动有新鲜感,能在老师引导下完成相关学习任务。在三年级,他们也接触过询问他人姓名的语言表达,如:What’s your name My name is..同时也认识描述外貌特征的形容词,如:thin, tall, short, fat等等,所以本单元学习描述他人的外貌特征还是有一定的语言基础。但是四年级的学生的审美观,价值观还在逐步形成阶段,让学生感知教材语言的语用和语义,学会如何描述他人的外貌特征。本单元的学习将培养学生正确的审美观,价值观,学会欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。

本节课是词汇篇, 主要学习形容外貌特征的词汇tall and strong, short and thin, friendly, quiet., 根据图片, 音频, 书写等让学生从听觉、视觉直观感知本节课的核心词汇和句型I have a good friend. He/She is _______. His/Her name is... 介绍自己朋友的外貌特征,通过自主发表看法和意见,让学生在交际中巩固所学内容,从中体验、实践、交流和探究语言,达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过介绍自己的朋友,培养学生欣赏他人,尊重个体差异,珍惜友谊。
