The sports manga(日本漫画) Slam Dunk(《灌篮高手》) has been a common childhood memory for a generation of Chinese audiences(观众).
It first came out in 1990 as regularly(定期地) published manga, and it returned with an all-new animated(动画的) film in 2022. The Fist Slam Dunk came to theaters in Japan on Dec. 3, 2022 and would be released(上映) in some other countries and places later.
Many manga fans were excited and wrote on the Internet, "My youth is back!"
Zhang Chao, an Internet engineer from Shanghai, is one of them. "My heart is always burning with righteous ardour(热血)," the 26-year-old said, describing his feelings after reading the manga.
The series(系列) shows the audience a group of young boys who go after their basketball dreams. Hanamichi Sakuragi, a physically gifted(有天赋的) but somewhat unfocused(不专心的) teenager, is one of the leading roles. He overcomes many problems and gradually shows his talents in basketball after working hard on the Shohoku High School basketball team.
"As these boys catch the ball, nothing can stop them from enjoying the fun and hunger of every win," added Zhang. "Sometimes, you can recall your old days playing with your friends, cooperating(合作) with each other and shooting hoops."
