She was so inspired by the people she met online that she decide to start an IT club to teach older people how to use computers and the Internet.

教学内容
教学重点: 1. 整合语篇信息,帮助学生理解文本的主要内容,掌握文本的结构。
2. 引导学生从文本标题入手,预测文本主要内容,理清文本与标题间的联系。
教学难点: 1. 培养学生的辩证思维能力,能自主形成高阶逻辑思维,意识到事物的两面性,并助推他们养成良好的上网行为习惯,塑造正确的人生观与世界观。
2. 基于文本细节,概括总结简的性格特点。

Ⅰ. Lead-in:free talk Topic1: If the story of “Niu Lang and Zhi nu” took place in the year 2023, what would happen Topic 2: Can you imagine what our life would be like if there were no Internet 【设计意图】通过让学生自由发言、头脑风暴,展开丰富想象、产生对该话题的兴趣,并激发学生的背景知识,激活相关语言,如:to make phone/video/voice calls;to download/listen to music;to stream videos/films;to order food;to play games;to take pictures;to pay the bills;to shop online等等。 Ⅱ. Reading Activity1: Prediction Read the title of the passage, find the key words and predict the content of the passage.   【设计意图】让学生反复朗读标题 “Stronger Together: How We Have Been Changed by the Internet”,找到标题的关键词,提高学生预测文本内容的能力。这个活动旨在突破重点内容。 Activity2: while- reading Task 1.
