(1)“so... that...”引导结果状语从句,意思是“如此……以至于……”,其中so是副词,与形容词或副词连用,即“so+形容词或副词+that从句”。
The movie is so touching that I cried after watching it.这部电影如此感人以至于我看完以后哭了。
The teacher spoke so quickly that I did not understand her most of the time.老师讲得如此快以至于大部分时间我都听不懂她讲什么。
(2)so+many(多)/few(少)+复数可数名词+that...; so+much(多)/little(少)+不可数名词+that...
There were so many people in the museum that I couldn’t find him.博物馆里人太多了,我找不到他。
