1一、教学背景分析
I、 教学内容分析
1、 位置和内容:本节课是新目标英语八年 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )级下册Unit5 SectionB第一课时。本节课的内容是一节听说课。学会谈论过去发生的事情、学会讲述自己的故事是本节课的语言目标,如何使用过去进行时及使用when、while引导的时间状语从句是本节课的重点内容。
2、 教学重点:学会新授单词及短语;正确使用过去进行时态“was/were doing”的结构;谈论过去的事情或讲述自己过去的故事。
3、 教学难点:正确使用过去进行时态“was/were doing”的结构;谈论过去的事情或讲述自己过去的故事。
II、 学生情况分析
学生七年级下册就已经学过现在进行 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )时,并掌握如何使用现在进行时来描述日常生活琐事,而且在Unit5前三课时中我们已经初步掌握了过去进行时“was/were doing”的结构和when/while的句型,这有利于学生在讲述过去的事情或过去自己的故事时运用这些结构和句型,并使故事更生动完美。

本节课是一节听说课,在教学活动 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )中只有根据学生的心理、认知规律来设计课堂教学,充分体现以学生为中心,以人的发展为本的教学理念。以学生为主体,以任务为中心,以交际为目的。根据不同层次学生的水平,创造出不同的任务化活动,让学生在运用语言完成任务的过程中来学习、体会、掌握语言,让学生通过学习、伙伴合作、协商,在做中学,学中用,学习过程充满了反思、顿悟和自省,从而可以最大限度地调动学生的学习内驱力,提高他们发现问题、解决问题的能力,发展他们的认知策略,培养他们的合作精神和参与意识,并在完成任务的过程中体验成功的喜悦,充分发挥成功的潜能。
在教学设计过程 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )中,听前我以自己因帮助学生而开会迟到的故事,以及图片讲故事来激发学生的兴趣,利用资源让学生掌握重点核心词汇,又为下一步听力材料扫清了障碍,达到了介绍听力材料背景的目的,调动学生的欲望,从而积极主动地参与到听说读写中来。在听中,针对听力材料设计了六个精炼的问答题,通过问答的形式,让学生对听的内容加深印象,从而让学生对本节课听有所知,听有所获。在听后,我设计了Group-work对话形式和故事竞赛形式的任务型活动,从而培养了他们的合作精神和参与意识,并让他们在完成任务的过程中体验成功的喜悦。

1、 知识目标:要求学生掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情,并学会用when、while谈论过去的事情或自己的故事。
2、 能力目标:能在交际过程中熟练运用 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )所学结构和句型,在听前学会运用听前预测,在听中提高抓取和记录关键信息等听力技能,在听后学会运用when、while引导的时间状语从句讲述自己的故事。
3、 情感目标及价值观:教育、培养学生对他人及动物表示关爱;以及讲述过去的故事。
II、 教学策略

师生互相问候,并就天气话题自由谈论。
<设计意图>:通过问候,师生进行初步的情感交流,营造一个轻松愉悦的课堂氛围。
II、Review.
教师以询问日期提及汶川 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )地震纪念日,接着导入句型:What were you doing when Wenchuan earthquake happened 让学生运用上节课所学的过去进行时结构来回答。然后以记者采访活动为话题进行Pair work.再次复习巩固when引导的时间状语从句。最后再导入一张关于Susan故事的幻灯片,让学生一起讲述故事,提高课堂气氛,激发学生的兴趣。
<设计意图>:what sb was/wer ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )e doing 以及when /while 引导的时间状语从句贯穿于本单元的话题,是本单元也是本节课的重点,在Section A中学生已经初步掌握这些知识,在新授课前,我选择学生熟悉的事件汶川地震为话题,通过谈论来复习旧知,同时也衔接于本节课的目标语言。

本节课最大的特点是将听说读写教学融于一体,且 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )环节紧凑。尤其是对词汇和目标语言的处理可谓是一大亮点:本节课词汇、目标语言复现率高,巧妙地贯穿于整个听说教学中。本节课还充分发挥了多媒体的优势,利用图片将故事情节生动化、形象化,呈现给学生学习语言需要的材料,为学生搭建了一个很好的语言练习平台。在导入环节中,通过扮演故事中的人物讲故事,营造了轻松愉快的氛围,学生积极参与,作为教学前奏,为后面的学习作了很好的铺垫。我们不难看出,在课堂教学中,如果教师设计了一个轻松愉快的贴近生活的语言环境,创造一个学生没有心理压力,不受任何约束,又能充分展现自我的课堂氛围,这就自然地使他们放松,激起他们开口说英语的欲望。通过多种形式的听、说、读、写语言实践活动 让学生体味到了英语语言的真正魅力所在。因此,有目的,有乐趣的课堂活动不失为一种鼓励学生大胆说英语的好方法。“施之以教,贵在引导”。教师通过自己的主导作用发挥学生的主体作用,通过丰富多彩的任务情境调动学生的学习积极性,主动地投入学习。
