Step One Warming-up (3’) Lead in 1. Free talk: T: What kind of animals do you like What do you know about pandas 2.Show a video about pandas. 3.Show the answers.. 1. Have students talk about pandas. 2. Students watch and think. 通过复习进行课前热身,激发学生学习兴趣。告知教学目标,充分发挥教学目标的导学导教导测功能。
知 识 为 例 , 探 寻 方 法 Step Two Pre-reading (3’) Present new words of the continents from the map, get Ss to read correctly and try to remember as many as possible. 自学自检:学生独立朗读单词并尝试背诵。 互助互学:以小组、对组为单位互相检查并抽测。 在自学自检、互帮互学中掌握新单词,体现学生的学习主动性和互助性。
Show students some pictures about our “Chinese Treasure”--- panda and show the title of the lesson and lecture the new words as well. eg: research, baby, scientist, produce, southwest, in order to , government, set up, nature, feed, symbol Watch pictures learn some new words. 引导学生谈论图片,训练学生描述事情的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型,做到词不离句,为学生扫清读的障碍。
Step Three While -reading (24’) 1. Fast reading (1)Ask students to scan the passage. T: Make the students read the passage and match the headings with the paragraphs. 2.Careful reading. (1)Paragraph 1&2: Get the Ss to read Paragraph 1&2 and answer: Why are pandas in danger T: Now, lets check the answers. ②Ask students tell some sentences in the passage that make them worry about pandas. (2)Paragraph 3&4: Get the Ss to read Paragraph 3&4 and answer: What can we do to save pandas T:Check the answers. T:Are the pandas the only animal in danger What does WWF want to protect 1. Scanning (1)Ask students to scan the passage. T: Make the students read the passage and match the headings with the paragraphs. 2.Careful reading. (1)Paragraph 1&2: ①Read Paragraph 1&2 and answer: Why are pandas in danger ②Volunteers tell some sentences in the passage that make them worry about pandas. (2)Paragraph 3&4: Get the Ss to read Paragraph 3&4 and answer: What can we do to save pandas Check the answers. Discuss and answer. 通过对文章的分析,引导学生用好教材,掌握写作方法。
Step Four Post-reading (10’) 1.Retelling. ①Let the students complete the conversation with the correct form of the words form of the words from the box on Activity 4. ②Call back the answers 2.Writing Read Activities 5&6, then imitate the example to write a short passage with the help of the following information. 1. Complete the conversation on the book. 2. Writing Write the short passage. 复述对话能使学生加深对课文内容的理解和记忆。 适当笔头练习,让学生巩固本课时的语言点和突出重点。
Step Five Summary(2’) 1.Get the students to sum up the language points. T: What have we learned today Ss:…… 2.Let the students to choose the best team in this lesson. 1.Sum up the language points. 2.To choose the best groups. 引导学生对这节课的总结,让学生做自由发言,培养学生自主学习,自主总结的良好学习习惯。
Step Six Home- work (1’) 1. Read the passage after school and remember the new words. 2.To finish writing the short passage about the South China Tigers. Finish the homework. 课后作业有助于学生巩固已学的知识,补充其他方面的锻炼。写作是阅读的拓展,让学生最终完全掌握语言,实践运用语言。
