一、教学内容分析
本课选自冀教版英语九年级第二单元,通过单元主题Great people可知本单元介绍了伟人及他们的生活,本课为该单元的第三课时China’s Most Famous “Farmer”介绍了杂交水稻之父——袁隆平的生活和贡献。 让学生根据时间线索了解袁隆平研究杂交水稻的过程,引导学生学习袁教授刻苦拼搏的精神,获取成长进步的激励,形成正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。
二、教学目标
1.语言能力:通过学习Hybrid, varieties, production, introduction等词汇以及了解时间线索明线及人物内在优秀品质暗线这两条线索了解袁隆平的生平经历,以读促写,模仿本课表达其他优秀人物。 2.文化意识:通过感受优秀人物实现梦想的艰辛过程,以及通过阅读文本中对人物全方面的刻画,学习伟人身上的艰苦奋斗精神,努力为人民、社会和国家做出自己的贡献。 3.思维品质:通过回答问题链,深度分析和理解文本,辨识句子、段落之间的逻辑关系及评价语篇内容的措辞并说明理由。 4.学习能力:通过探索时间线学会以时间轴的顺序介绍人物生平,通过绘制时间轴培养自主学习和探究学习的能力。
三、学情分析
本文出现的生单词较多,相近词学生辨别起来较困难。对于袁隆平学生只知道是杂交水稻之父,其余了解很少。
四、教学重难点
教学重点: 本课的重点是让学生通过整体理解及概括主要内容,了解什么样的人能够被称为伟人并学习伟人身上的优秀品质,其次是掌握人物传记的写作要点、方法及注意事项。
教学难点:本课的难点是能够复述课文以及运用所学写出其他优秀人物的传记。
