Step1. Revision and lead-in.
Show a picture. Then have my students guess :what’s she doing?and what kind of music? So as to review must,could ,might for inferences. Meanwhile, lead to the topic: What kind of music do you like?
Step 2. Presentation and practice
Show different kinds of music for students to enjoy. And show the target language with that.(e.g. I like music that I can dance to ….)
Step3. Pairwork (1 c)
Have students make their own conversations.
---What kind of music do you like?
---I like music that I can sing along with. What about you ?
---I prefer music that has great lyrics.
Step4 .listening practice
Have students look through the chart in 1b.
Play the recording once for the students to check.(If it is necessary, I will play it twice.)
Check the answers .
Step5. Additional knowledge.
Show two pictures of famous people. Make attributive clause with who.
