Unit 2 Let’s celebrate Starting out & Understanding ideas 教学目标 By the end of the class, students will be able to: get key information and details about the passage by skimming and scanning; list the basic elements of a book review by analyzing the structure; present your understanding of the title and the true spirit of celebrating festivals by discussing and thinking deeply. 教学重点: 1.To understand the true spirit of festivals: giving and receiving;to love and be loved. 2.To develop students’ own ideas on the title of the passage.
教学难点: To taste the father’s love reflected in the book and know to hold a tolerant attitude towards western festivals.
