教材分析
本单元的主题为“人与自然”---灾害防范。本节课为该单元主题语境下基于语篇的“概要写作”的语言技能训练。具体而言:首先,学生阅读一篇题为“TSUNAMI HITS ASIA: OVER 6,500 DEAD”的新闻报道参照范例,学习理解“概要写作”的特征及写作技巧---提取主要信息并把所提取的信息组织成文;然后,学生将所学技能应用实践,材料是本单元50页的READING。
设计思路
概要写作是用自己的语言来表达主旨的一种书面、缩略版的写作任务。它是学生对语言材料吸收存储、内化整理和表达的过程、是一种基于理解的创新,既要做到意义完整、结构严密、语句通顺、又要在语篇结构和连贯性上与原文保持一致,这需要学生具有良好的语篇意识,善于把握不同体裁语篇的文本特征和行文风格,且具有良好的语言组织能力。首先,学生应能准确理解文章主旨大意,准确判断文章体裁并能梳理文章脉络和结构的能力。第二,学生应具备判断主要观点,区分主要细节与次要细节以及寻找主要支持手段的能力。第三,学生应能判断各要点之间关系并能准确使用连接成分。最后,学生还应具备灵活、准确转换表达方式,提炼核心语言、组织语言、润色加工的能力。本节课为线上微课,所以采用了 “信息梳理—范例学习—自我实践—自我评估—润色加工—强化训练”六个环节。这六个环节涵盖了课堂指导以及课后作业布置,完成了课堂教学到课后的学习延申。

A summary is a short statement of main points. A summary paragraph tells the main ideas and the most important information of a longer passage.
How to get main points of a news report
As to a news report, an important way to get main points is to answer 5Wh- and 1How questions.

三、自我实践
1. Please read the text on page 50 and try to list the main details of it by answering 5Wh- and 1How questions in each paragraph.
2. Write down the main idea of each paragraph based on the details above.
3. Please organize the ideas and draft your summary. Pay attention to the following:
A summary should be around one third of the length of the original text.
Write down the key supporting points only.
Do not include unimportant details or examples.
【设计意图】此环节为应用实践环节,让学生即学即用更好的理解掌握“概要写作“的特征及技巧,同时又能意识到实际写作都不是一层不变的。一定是在掌握基本的阅读写作技巧后的灵活应变。
四、自我评估
