eg： You are thinner than me.

形容词副词的比较级变化（规则变化）
1）在词尾加-er ;
tall — taller old—older
short — shorter high — higher
2) 以不发音的字母e 结尾的，加-r; nice — nicer large — larger fine — finer late — later3)重读闭音节如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er； big — bigger fat — fatter
thin — thinner red — redder
hot — hotter wet— wetter
4)以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，先改y为i再加er ；
happy—happier early— earlier
funny—funnier easy — easier5)多音节词和部分双音节词要在单词前面加more；
important—more important
delicious —more delicious
expensive —more expensive
athletic —more athletic
tired — more tired
serious —more serious6)不规则变化
good/well—better bad—worse many/much—more little—less far—farther/further
注：有些形容词副词没有比较等级
如： right, wrong, very等。比较级有规律,词尾加上-er两兄弟;
要是以e来结尾,只有小二(r)跟上去;
重读闭音节词要牢记,双写千万别忘记;
要是“辅音+y”来结尾,小艾(i)要把y来替,
再加-er两兄弟;
